When i got it in the mail, i washed it then put treats it. This toy lasted honestly. 2 days. I have a Lab/Basit mix. She is only about 9 months. She loves to chew. Any toy i get for her that says tough isn't. They should let my dog be a toy tester, of toughness. All said this toy is for small dogs only.

It didn't take long for my pupster to destroy this toy. I think it would be a great toy for a dog that isn't such a chewer.

This has been a great addition to Jule's toys. She's a 10 week old cavalier/goldendoodle and always up at the crack of dawn! In the mornings I have her eat her normal puppy kibble from this because her tags clank against her ceramic bowl and it normally wakes everybody up! She doesn't chew on it. The only thing that I would change is to make the closure stay tight to the setting I need for her small kibble. But I'm sure it will be perfect once I change her to normal sized food.

My big 6 month old shephard lab loves this toy all the time so it gives me time that I don't have to constantly eye ball him. The best way to load it for maximum time is to put peanut butter inside 1st, small kibble next and some bite sized carrots and then seal it all with more peanut butter. This makes him lick, drop it, lick and paw it for all its worth. Too bad they don't make it 8 or 9 inches wide!

It obviously isn't meant to be a chew toy! That's why so many people have had problems with it being destroyed. It is meant to keep your dog occupied by having them have to work at getting the treats out by pushing it around. My year old Lab loves it and I've had no problems with its durability when it is used as intended.

My 6mo Lab mix destroyed this toy. Definitely not for heavy chewers. However, she loved the toy and had a great time ripping it to shreds

My 15 month cocker loves this toy. She tried it at a friend's house and now we are ordering one for her. She normally hates any kind of rubbery toy and won't touch them, but she loved this - and not just for the treats inside. I was very impressed.

We call it her "saucer" and my 16 month old Lab has had it since she was 9 months. When she goes into her crate or a cage at the hospital where I work, she gets it filled with little pieces of dog biscuit. She moves it about her space until she has eaten all her treats. She hasn't harmed the surface -- few teeth marks on the edge near the openings are apparent, but no distruction and no chunks gone. She gets it only when she is being confined so she has ample opportunity to trash it but doesn't. When I get ready to leave I tell her to go get her saucer and she brings it to me to be filled. I like it but maybe best for a dog who has finished teething.
