I got a small and a medium. I was sure my Bichon would prefer the smaller size since she has a tiny mouth but she loves the medium. She loves rawhide chews but now this is what she goes for. I love it because I can wash it.

Just bought this for my 4 year old lab mix and 7 month old Shepherd mix (she is a heavy chewer!!). She loves it, and she has fun with it because she knows the objective is to get the discs off, and it keeps her busy for the longest time she never looses interest!! Great product for the active dogs, I put it in her crate with her when I leave.

Recently, I purchased 2-One for our Chesapeake Bay and one for our Choc Lab...which are heavy chewers! So far these have stood up to the chewing and the dogs love working for the rawhide rings.
One negative-- the rings don't always come off completely around the bone. They end up becoming slimey and smelly. More ring flavor options would be great, too.

This is one fantastic dog toy. My lab/pit mix can chew through anything but this toy is still going strong after about four months. We ran out of the rawhide disks pretty quickly but it's still his favorite, with or without treats. The nylabone type ends keep his teeth very clean. For a retriever type dog that needs a toy in it's mouth constantly this is a winner! It seems satisfying to my dog because of it's substantial size. My only warning, watch out when they drop it on your toes!

This is a great toy because it makes my puppy's treat last longer and gives her exercise while eating it. I wish they would sell the refill disks in your choice of meat based or non because the non meat based has wheat gluten in it and I don't feed that to my pup. I ordered some different soft hide chews punched a hole in each end and thread them on instead. I also ordered some thick raw hide chips to do the same thing with so she can't get the whole piece in her mouth at once to swallow before it is chewed up.
