I just received this and I couldn't wait to get it. We have a 2 pound shih tzu puppy and he likes it ok. I was a initially disappointed with how small it is. even when its laid out flat. But my biggest complaint is that when you tighten it up.. it tips over. I have tried to tighten it less thinking that might help but hasn't. When he goes to crawl in it the whole thing tips over. I wanted this to use in my truck also so I could teach him to stay in his own spot.. but once again if it is tightened and not flat it will tip over. This is a really easy fix in my mind.. It would be nice if they put some weight in the bottom of it to keep it from toppling so easily. This bed is pretty pricey and the whole purpose of it for me was because it tightens up. It would NOT be worth the money to use it flat as its not very padded and rather small even for my 8 week old puppy.. Really sad about the whole thing. I would return it but you have to pay for return shipping and well it just would not be worth it. :(

My Chihuahua puppy was very small when we got her, only weighing one pound at 15 weeks old. We found this bed and were able to make it small enough for her to nest in and be warm. She is now 8 months old and has grown to a whopping 3.9 pounds! As she grew, we just released the pull strings and let the bed get bigger. I have just orderd another bed for her so that I can always have one in her kennel while I am washing the other one to keep her bed fresh and clean.

My dogs jumped into them as soon as I created the little donut by pulling the string to whatever size I wanted. They have been in them now for 3 hours snoozing. They are quality made, eye pleasing, unique and very acceptable to my Shihtzu's

I got a tiny Chihahua puppy from the breeder and could not find a bed for her that provided the comfort and warmth that she needed until I came across this bed. She loves it, all 2.3 pounds of her. I am now having trouble getting her to get out of her nice warm bed in the morning to go outside.

As soon as I brought one of these Buttercup Beds into my house, each of my yorkies tried to stake claim to it. Eventually I had to buy more and then more again. I run a rescue group for small dogs and each and every one of them love these beds. I now own 10 of them and they have all lasted well. I would recommend these beds to everyone. I have yet to meet a dog who didn't LOVE these beds. It doesn't matter how small or arge your yorkie is, just tie the string tighter or looser to fit. There is nothing cuter than seeing ten of these beds lined up with a yorkie in each one.
