My Border Collie needs to lose some weight. I want him to do it in a healthy manner and Blue Buffalo has quality.

My two rescue hounds absolutely LOVE this food! I like the grain free formula because my senior hound was having allergic skin reactions prior to starting it. I am on a similar diet as is in this formula!! Maybe I'll just eat this dog food and make my healthy diet simple!!!

I'm confused if this is for underweight or overweight dogs?
Mona M on Jun 16, 2014
Best Answer: My vet recommended this for my two overweight mini dachshunds because it has all the nutrients needed. I only give a third of a cup a day to each of them and the love it. They are losing the weight slowly which is good for them. Regarding underweight dogs, I am not sure but I would think something different for your dogs if you want to get them to gain weight. Hope this helps you.
