I just bought one for my little Maltese/Poodle to try. OMG! I have to stock up. She is obsessed with this. It has a smoky jerky scent that I don't like, but she does and that's what counts. When she comes out of her pen in the AM, she goes right for it and sits quietly chewing. Even my cat has tried chewing on it. My cat!

My two dachshunds absolutely love these. If you want to give your dog something to chew on for hours and hours, these are amazing... our dogs work on them for such a long time and never get tired of them. It keeps them out of trouble, sitting still in the living room chewing on these. They are hard then soften up after a long time of chewing, and any pieces that come off are fully digestable and packed with protein, cleans their teeth in the process too. I don't give my dogs anything else that I have to worry about breaking off into little pieces, these things are awesome all around. The 5" ones are perfect for my doxies. Such a great price here too. I always order at least 12 of these at one time to stock up. We can't be without these piggy ropes in our house.

Better value than bully sticks, 6/16/2010

Our dogs love bully sticks, but they do not seem to last long with our "power chewers". The beefeaters ropes last two to three times longer than the bully sticks and the dogs love the flavor.
