great natural treat, 8/3/2009

These "beef tubes"( and smoked pig ears) really get my pit bull excited but they are not long lasting "chews" for her - use these as motivation/training (break apart) treats or as special treat. Get compressed porkhide or rawhide, or knuckle bone, or raw marrow bone (from your butcher) if you want a long lasting chew for a dog like a pit bull terrier.

tasty but not long-lasting to a pit bull, 7/20/2009

i would not consider this a "chew", it did not last more than 15 minutes for my pitbull terrier mix (medium/large) dog. the dog was very excited about it. i would recommend using this as a training treat by breaking it apart. if you are looking for a long lasting chew, give your dog a raw marrow bone or a smoked knuckle bone.

Worms coming out of it, 7/6/2009

My dogs love this treat. But there were worms coming out from these even I kept it in an air tight container.
