Is it irritating for a dog with flea dermatitis?
Carroll T on Oct 22, 2014
Best Answer: If the dog's back is hugely scabbed then I wouldn't apply to broken skin. However, if the skin has healed then it's a good one to use because it kills on contact. But I'd apply not to newly healed skin but over the shoulders or something. (With flea allergy dermatitis it is the "bite" from the flea that causes the problem so you don't want to use something systemic and have the flea have to bite the dog to die.)
