I have two dogs a Golden Retriever and Black Lab both tall big dogs. I have had two sets of these within the past 5 years and love them they are perfect height for the dogs for water and food. This year they got new ones for inside and the old went outside they both were very excited about their early christmas present.

I have a new great dane puppy so when I saw this I thought it would be perfect. I ordered the 5qt so that they would be big enough for her and I wouldnt have to fill up the water bowl 100 times a day. I filled up the water bowl and the thing TIPPED OVER, water everywhere!!! So i tried filling it halfway, tipped over again. This product is very unstable and I wish I could get my money back.I wouldnt recommend it at all

I was really excited to receive this product because it looks like a really great product on the website. All the great reviews from Great Dane owners also made me think this would be great. However, I was disappointed from the second I opened the box.
I ordered 2 of the 5QT models. The design is so poor and flimsy that as soon as I put water in one of the bowls, it almost tipped over from the weight. perhaps the smaller model would fare better, but I have two large mutts that drink a lot of water. We need the large bowls so we are not filling their water 10 times each day.
The only thing supporting the bowls is a single knob with a screw and a rubber stopper. It relies on friction to hold the bowls up, but it has no mechanism for securing the side-to-side tilting. Had the company used a set of bolts secured to holes at fixed intervals on the vertical bar, this product would be much more stable.
I gave this product a week to see if I would learn to like it, but the more I used it the more disappointed I got.

I just received my adjustable dog feeder and it does not work at all. The screw that holds the bowls at a certain height does not tighten enough to hold just the weight of bowls... let alone the weight of food in the bowls. The screw strips after the second tightening and the other piece that is supposed to help hold the bowls in place doesn't work. It is a great idea, but a bad design.

Received the double diner yesterday and my Great Dane Pup loved it. It's stable, easy to clean, and is a great value. The 5 quart is plenty large for the larger breed of dog.

This double diner is great for my American Bully pup. She is fairly destructive like most puppies, but she doesnt tip it over or knock it down because it has a nice sturdy base the clamps are great so I can make minute adjustments since she seems to grow every few hours :...Overall I am really happy with my purchase and it came pretty fast. My girl loves it and this should be around as long as she is.

I got this for my black lab who is 10 years old. I got the 2 qt bowls because his old bowls were 2 qt. I had hoped I could just insert his old bowls into the opening. Didn't happen. The new bowls hold just over 1/2 qt of water. I use a pitcher to fill his bowl and that's all the water that it holds. I fill it and he drinks it all up in one try. There is even a sticker inside the bowls that says 2 qt! There's no way. The adjustable height is great but the nut on the bottom needs tightened every time he eats. There is a clamp that is supposed to keep the bowls from moving around- it works, but it makes the whole post move then. It spins away from him and stops when it hits the wall. He doesn't mind any of this, except that he has to drink from our other dog's water when this one is empty. It's pure frustration for us humans.

I have this feeder for my great dane and absolutely LOVE it! Danes are suseptable to having their stomachs 'roll' and kill them. Having their fed bowl elevated helps them to digest their food making them less likely to pass from a stomach 'roll'

This is a GREAT feeder! We were able to use it for our puppy as she grew and will continue to use it through her adulthood. Puppies grow SO fast and its great to have an elavated feeder that will grow with them! Great quality, easy to use, remarkably stable and simple to clean up!

Product holds its own. Bowls were much easier to clean and I believe our Dane is much happier with the height and stability.

This is great for bigger dogs who have trouble eating out of a normal bowl on the floor. I have a 27 inch Giant Schnauzer. My dog no longer chokes on his food when he eats.

All in all a great elevated feeder for the money. Our Great Danes are so happy to be feeding from a comfortable position. Can you make it a little taller? Nice product for tall dogs, keep up the good work.

so far, this thing is awesome, our great dane used to swipe his nose on his old feeder, now he no longer does it, which means less mess, it's awesome, the other plastic feeders, have space underneath the bowls where water can get into, making a mess, not this one, if you didn't get it yet, THIS THING IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought the 5 quart double diner to replace the smaller 2 quart model we had bought at PetSmart. I was very disappointed with the quality of this item. The metal was thin, the tall part just screwed in and ended up crooked....and it wasn't built to hold 5 quarts on both sides....it tilted. It wasn't even as tall. I wish the metal was as thick as the smaller verson we have. The workmanship is shabby and metal very light and hollow. Dog.com is kind enough to take back the diner and refund my money plus shipping. I think they are looking into a different maker of this item..... I wsh I knew who make the one from PetSmart....but it is only made in the 2 quart verson.

I ordered this bowl for our Lab mix and he is really much more comfortable now than he was eating out of his bowl on the floor. Having the removable bowls makes it a snap to clean! Also it has been great being able to move it up as needed for his growth (since he is now 23 in at his back and almost 70 lbs I am thinking that we are going to be able to have it at the top position for good.) :)
